Autodesk is a leader in 3D design, engineering, and entertainment software. Opened in 2008, Autodesk Singapore Research and Development (ASRD) Centre is one of the biggest R&D hubs in Asia-Pacific.
Here at ASRD, our 300 strong world class team is involved in product development, technology research and business innovation. From building our core product lines to developing tools for our internal users, and building our latest cloud offering for the world, our engineers and experts are influencing how 8,500 employees and 200 million customers worldwide design and make.
Autodesk makes software for people who make things
If you’ve ever driven a high-performance car, admired a towering skyscraper, used a smartphone, or watched a great film, chances are you’ve experienced what Autodesk customers are doing with our software. Autodesk gives our users the power to make anything.
Officially opened in 2017, the Maker Studio is equipped with a variety of makers’ equipment including a CNC machine, a laser cutter, 3D printers, electronics, and hand tools. Makers from Autodesk and external parties gather to innovate, learn from each other, and work on their passion projects. Some notable “Made in Maker Studio” projects include a 3D-printed violin and a laser harp that won the Maker Faire Singapore “Maker of Merit” award – both designed with Autodesk Fusion 360.
Culture is very important at Autodesk and we ensure all employees feel empowered to make anything ™. We are honoured to be ranked on many ‘Great Place to Work’ lists around the world and is one of Singapore's great places to work.
The best designers and engineers begin their journeys as students. And that is why Autodesk makes it a point to invest in our future generation and to inspire them from young. It’s only the start of the year and we’ve engaged with over a hundred students!
Continuing our tradition of a strong showing at Maker Faire Singapore and our commitment as a long time sponsor, ASRD enthusiasts showcased various projects they had worked on for months. We also received the "Maker of Merit" award!
